Rachael + Marcus Couples Session

For this photo session, I met back up with my friend Rachael to get some couple photos for her and her man, Marcus. Rachael and I thought it would be fun to work with my studio backdrop and aim for a 2000s vibe. We shared photos back and forth for inspo, and chose a date. I was able to lug all my studio gear over to her apartment where I basically set up camp, she introduced me to Marcus, and we got to work. These two had no issue loving up on each other, and it made for some amazing photos.

For these indoor photos I used a single lightbox I recently got, and I think it worked out pretty well. We worked to come up with a variety of poses to get some unique shots. Rachael and Marcus were giving me their angles and they killed the more serious shots too.

After maxing out our posing ideas indoors, I suggested we step outside since the light was hitting really well at that time. They did a quick outfit change and agreed. I always prefer natural lighting, but these shots we got quickly in front of their apartment are some of my faves.
