Taylor Family
My sister, Megan, and I have been talking for months about doing family portraits for her, and we finally got around to it a few weeks ago! We shot at one of my favorite locations, Flat Fork Creek Park, and planned a time that fit with their busy kids’ schedules. The day of, the weather looked beautiful with a slight chance of rain, so we figured we’d take the risk.
Unfortunately, the shading overhead clouds quickly turned into downpour rain after only taking a few shots, and we had to take cover under the bridge for a moment. Once the rain settled, we persevered and found some overgrown flowers to provide a nice backdrop. As we continued walking, the sun came out and a rainbow appeared behind them. I quickly posed the group and was able to capture a few photos with it included (more seen further down below), which was meaningful to their family after a loss this year. ♡
The sun quickly made an appearance, and we continued to snap a few more fun portraits before the kids decided they were over it. I wanted to include my niece, Maddie, in the process and asked her to pick a pose from my Pinterest, and she picked the goofy portrait you see below. I think it shows off the whole family’s silly side, and it definitely turned out to be one of my favorites.
