Beauty Aligned Esthetics Promotional Shoot

In high school, one of my best friends was Liz. Liz was always trying new beauty products and trying to gently tell my I didn’t need so much anastasia brow pomade (I didn’t listen- a huge mistake). I can recall multiple occasions where we settled in to watch a movie with some face masks and her cat.

After graduating from Purdue, I was able to reconnect with Liz. Despite considering other careers in the beauty field, Liz landed on esthetics. She graduated from esthetician school and worked hard for many certifications- and when I reconnected with her, she wasn’t happy where she was working. After a bit of time she finally ventured out on her own- with Beauty Aligned Esthetics.

I myself am a client of hers now, and have more appointments in the future. I was so impressed with her clean setup when I first visited. It was a smaller room, but she had beautiful displays and lighting. She ensured I was comfortable every step of the way so I would love the end result.

Liz started to have problems at her location, with water leaking through the ceiling and management not doing much to take care of it. Eventually, a ceiling tile fell through and water began leaking all over her studio - so it was time to find a new spot. She was able to get out of her lease and ended up with an even better location in Carmel, Indiana. She now has natural lighting, a bigger room, and there’s a pretty sweet coffee maker I enjoy.

We took these photos to show off Liz’s space and skills. We got all these shots in two sessions which included shooting her working and some headshots. Her skills in makeup show in her own face in these, and you can see by the photos she enjoys spending time with her clients while performing her many other services. It was so fun getting to take photos with a friend to support her business. Go check her out!
